Take Off Procedures For MUGM???
« on: June 29, 2011, 01:39:42 PM »
Shalom and greetings all my pals,

As I stated in other post in this Havana subforum that I successfully completed real world route flight from Florida to MUGM using specific real world military cargo route to avoid Cuba's airspace.

Now my question is what real world take off procedures from MUGM would be for military cargo planes returning to America?

I am guessing that when the plane takes off from runway 10 of MUGM, the pilot must make sharp right turn to head to open seas to avoid violating Cuba's border and air space.

Am I right?  I do not see on internet such procedure for that.

Would appreciate answer so that I can recreate real world take off from MUGM for flight to America to enhance realism.

Thanks,

Aharon

Hi Aharon,

The procedure should be pretty similar to the arrival. Just depart visual turning to the south, once well over the water head to leave the FIR by BYGON avoiding overfly of the Cuban territory.

Miguel,

Thanks!!!  Sound like TNCM departure method!!! When taking off from MUGM runway 10, I must make sharp right turn to open seas of Caribbean Sea to avoid Cuban border and airspace.
